ALL ABOUT PLANTS!!!

Plants are living things that cover much of the land of the Earth. You see them everywhere. They include grass, trees, flowers, bushes and more.

Finally, something interesting, there are more than 600 known species of carnivorous plants around the world.

Aren´t they amazing?

Uses of plants.

We use plants for several things. Medicines, furniture, soap, and perfume. We eat plants as well. Broccoli, eggplant, lettuce, or cauliflower are plants that you can see on your table!

I want salad for lunch. Plants in my salad.

But there are more uses...

Flowering plants.

 

The plant´s reproductive system. From outside to inside: flowers-fruit-seeds.

Pollination

Bees, other bugs, winds, birds, us...help.

Las plantas tienen un sistema de comunicación interno parecido al sistema nervioso de los animales. Usan los mismos componentes, glutamato y calcio, para avisar de una agresión y desencadenar una reacción defensiva.
